Since Prozac is long-acting, it is the one antidepressant that can be taken every other day as part of tapering the drug. Please if anyone has any advice , please contact me. We need to look at the age and sex of an individual, and their problems.

So, I am going to suggest yet another over the counter drug that I discovered early on because it is something that I have used prior to this past week in paradise, Benadryl. I have never been on this type of medication before and I already suffer from nausea. I have been on many, many antidepressants for the past 7 years (I am 47). I experienced the nausea the first 2weeks and it had passed. Then right before my period I'd get REALLY down and dizzy. I can just cry, which makes everything tighter in my face, and my jaw. During that time you're usually dealing with some side-effects that the doctors are telling you may subside after a couple of weeks, and of course still dealing with the depression. Today is day 5 without the past 4 days were terrible. Ask for help from your family and friends. After just a couple of days on 30mg of Cymbalta I notice a difference.

I've been on Paxil for about 4 years (50mg now) but it seems that I just get used to it and get depressed. Weigh your benefits against the cost before embarking on any antidepressant and definatley have a good physician monitoring you the whole way through. AFTER I SEE ALL THESE POSTINGS I WONDER HOW MUCH IS BEING COVERED UP. Then I proceed to the sunroof, I feel no pain at all. OMG - I don't know why my husband didn't leave me. I feel just fine and my major depression is no longer. I'm experiencing quite a bit of dizziness, but at the moment that's all. I went to my family physician to discuss getting off the Lexapro and Wellbutrin, he was all for a go without antidepressant drugs, but what about my body pain. com - I think paresthesia is what covers the "brain shocks" people describe on withdrawal ...

Cymbalta withdrawal Dreaming Abnormal - Dreaming that leaves a very clear, detailed picture and impression when awake that can last for a long period of time and sometimes be unpleasant. At first, switching from the Lexapro I didn't really notice a difference in side effects or effectiveness, but after about 4-5 weeks I noticed I had much more energy, my fibromyalgia pain was much much better, I was sleeping better, and my husband especially noticed how much better my mood is.

My personality is basically calm and patient.

I've been tapering off for almost a year using the taper method in the "Antidepressant Solution" by Joseph Glenmullne, MD (worth a read btw). It seemed to be perfect for me, it worked better than other anti-depressants for my major depression. I won't be taking another Cymbalta! I am grateful that I found these testimonials and am going to spread the word to others about this drug so that no one else will have to go through what so many people are experiencing. I had very notable dizziness for the first 4 or 5 days and now it's occasional. I have in the last 90 days experienced almost all of the side effects listed above. Cymbalta has given me the edge to handle teen problems w/ less anxiety and less disruptive emoting. I'm hoping since i'm younger the side effects may be less severe. I've been taken off of cymbalta, which I was taking in combination with wellbutrin. In light of the side effects of the other meds I have tried (Wellbutrin, Prozac, Zoloft, Serzone and Remeron) I like this drug.

Well, she was finally weaned off of it some time ago, and placed on Lexapro. She was very anxious to try something that might help her, and they were going to give her $35 per visit for her time to participate in this test program.
